This is how to charge your wand to use in spell casting, this is not a consecration for an elemental wand.
00:00:00 - Introduction
00:00:15 - This is a wand for casting spells, not an elemental wand, as described in the lesson on "Wand Magic" in A Witch's Primer.
00:00:35 - Use any wand you like, wood, metal, gems, ornate or plain (I prefer wood).
00:01:00 - The ritual calls for incense, but you may easily substitute a spray perfume or hydrosol for incense if you prefer.
00:01:25 - Have ready a lit candle (red or white), salt, incense, water, and a cloth.
00:01:45 - mix some salt in the water and chant, "Salt and water this charge I lay, no spell nor adverse purpose stay; hear my words; attend to me; and as I will so mote it be."
00:02:00 - Dampen the cloth with the saltwater and gently cleanse your wand.
00:02:18- Wave it through the incense smoke chanting " Fire and air this charge I lay, no spell nor adverse purpose stay; hear my words; attend to me; and as I will so mote it be."
00:02:33 - Dedicate the wand to magic by presenting it to each element: "by the power of fire, by the power of water, by the power of air and by the power of earth do I dedicate this wand to magic. So mote it be."
00:03:00 - Sprinkle some salt over the wand and cover it with a white cloth, or some white paper, and leave it for 24 hours.
00:03:30 - Decide on a simple symbol that represents your desire. When you build your thoughtform, do so as you trace the symbol in the air with your wand.
00:04:22 - If you don't have a wand, you can still work the operation using just your index and middle fingers together.
