Poppit spells are a time-honored tradition in the Craft. Here is a simple poppit spell for eliminating fear. I hope you enjoy it!
This spell requires 1. modeling clay, 2. salt, 3. water, 4. a white candle, 5. lavender perfume, 6. White cloth or paper
1. Make a human figure out of the clay.
2. "baptize" the figure with the four elements stating "Thou art no longer clay, thou art my fear, now going away"
3. Place the doll on a bed of salt and wrap it up in the white cloth or paper.
4. Leave it undisturbed until the end of the next dark moon.
5. Unwrap it and state "Thou art no longer my fear, I return you to clay."
6. Then break the doll apart and throw the clay away.
Purification chants:
"Salt and water this charge I give no spell nor adverse purpose live"
"Fire and air this charge I lay no spell nor unknown purpose stay"
"Hear my words, attend to me and as i will so mote it be."
(note: You may wave the poppit through lavender incense if you like instead of spraying it with the perfume).
