Psalm 77 begins in that place of spiritual distress, but it does not remain there. Through honest acknowledgment, remembrance, and meditation, the psalm leads us back to the evidence of Divine Power already at work in our lives.
Its final promise is extraordinary: a path can be made through the waters even when no footprints can be seen.
