Today, we are working Psalm 43. In traditional psalm magic, Psalm 43 is frequently used to overcome any unjust situation, for material needs to be met, to turn back evil. And to reverse slander, I would like to use Psalm 43 to get any material needs met. The way we work psalm magic is simple, easy, and effective.

We take the psalm in question and we read it out loud all the way through once without stopping. We commonly call this an incantation. After the incantation, we go back through the psalm and we consider each verse in turn and look for hidden meanings that we might find there. We call those meanings magic seeds.

You never find all of them. There's a plethora, infinite amount of them. But by considering them and allowing yourself to be intuitively guided, you consider those inner meanings that you find and try to apply them to whatever the situation is that you brought to the psalm. And by doing that work, you're planting those magic seeds deeply in the fertile grounds of your mind.

Where they take root, they grow, they blossom forth, and they bear fruit after their kind. And that's exactly what we are going to do together right now with Psalm 43. Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation. O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man, for thou art the God of my strength.

Why dost thou cast me off? Why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy? O send out thy light and thy truth. Let them lead me. Let them bring me unto thy holy hill and to thy tabernacles. Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy. Yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God, my God.

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. It starts out with, Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation. O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man. Nations are big, overarching thoughtforms.

Today, we are trying to get material needs met. For every experience that we have in our lives, there is a thoughtform that controls it. When we are trying to change something, we need to change the thoughtform, work within the realm of cause, and then the effect changes. And that's Magic 101A. Judge me, O God.

First thing we want to do is be judged. I don't want to keep my favorite thought form, if it's causing me problems. I don't want to tell the Infinite what the Infinite needs to do. Because if I knew what to do, I would have done it already. I'd have this need met if I already knew what to do. We want the Infinite to judge for us.

To judge our thoughts. To judge the cause. And to help us to start again. To have a new thought. To rearrange things in our minds. Before we go any further, it's always important for us to orient ourselves to who God is. God, in the King James Version of the Bible, is Elohim. This is an Elohistic psalm.

Elohim is the host of angels working in unity as one. There is only one, but it's one that has many facets. So it's not a singular personality. It's a collective of all that is. It's the one source, the one substance in all the universe. And there is but oneness in every aspect of creation. And when we understand that, we don't have to worry about.

Whether we're powerful enough to handle this or whether maybe God will lose our file or our spell isn't as important as everything else, we don't have to worry about that 'cause there's oneness. And with that oneness, one with God is a majority, and whoever God is for nothing can be against. And since God is for you, because you are an extension of God.

then your success is assured. Remind yourself of that. See yourself right now as this extension of God. You're like a ray of light coming out of a central star. Judge me. Oh God, I want you to judge me. It's what I want. Whatever's not working, I want you to judge that so that you can help me to change that.

Plead my cause against an ungodly nation. So I want you to judge against the overarching thought form that's creating this problem of getting my needs met. There's something that I need in this world. There's some material need that's not manifesting, not materializing. And I recognize that there's some sort of thought form that's at the root of that.

So I want you to judge it for me. I'm not going to do it myself because like I said before, if I knew how to do it, it would have been done a long time ago. So you do it. Plead my case against this ungodly nation, meaning you can undo this thought form at its roots and restructure it or annihilate it, whatever you need to do because you're the judge, not me.

Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man. The deceitful and unjust man represents the problem. And on a more esoteric level, it represents the false self, the ego mind. You have this idea of who you are. And you have this idea of what this problem means to who you are. And you have a whole story, I'm John Smith, I'm 49 years old, I live in Poughkeepsie, I have a job, I have a wife, I have three kids, a whole storyline.

That whole storyline helps you function in this world, but it has nothing to do with the you that God knows. God knows you as a soul, and that soul is so much bigger than your personality. Now, your personality is usually overtaken by that ego mind, because the ego wants to separate us. It wants to structure us.

It wants to limit us. The ego wants you to believe that you're limited to your resume, to your circumstances, to your storyline. The deceitful and unjust man is that part of your own mind that is convincing you not only is this problem real and possibly unsolvable, but what did you expect because you're so limited.

You're so limited. So how could you even expect anything different? You just have to put up with it. This is a deceitful and unjust man. Any idea that this need cannot be met. Then the next verse says, For thou art the God of my strength. Why dost thou cast me off? Why go I mourning? Because of the oppression of the enemy.

The god of my strength is alluding to sphere number five. That would be Samael, if you're working angel magic, or Mars, or any of those warrior gods. It's god is warrior. When God is your strength, that means that you don't have to be your own strength. When God fights your battles, that means you get to take your hands off the battle.

Whatever this problem is, whatever this need is, all of the battling that you might have been doing, now is time for you to recognize, that's not my job. I called upon the infinite to handle it for me. And so the Infinite's taking it in its hands and is going to fight the battle in a way that works. Thou art the God of my strength.

I'm not the God of my strength, you're the God of my strength. Why dost thou cast me off? We're asking the Infinite, why are you forgetting about me? Why are you hanging me out to dry? Why didn't you just fix this for me? Why do I even have to come to you? I shouldn't have to do this. What's your problem, God?

It's important that we allow ourselves to give voice to these things, but recognize that's an inaccurate assumption that the infinite has cast you off. However, the infinite has been waiting patiently for you to make up your own mind about this. Let's just say Samael, this big, buff, amazing warrior that can just go in and destroy any problem in a heartbeat.

Can you imagine just sitting around watching television one night and this whole army comes in and says, We're going to rearrange your house and we're going to ship you off to a new location and we're going to get you new clothes. No, that would not feel good. Because we didn't ask for any of that. It may or may not be good for us.

We don't know. We were just sitting there minding our own business. And then the army came in and told us what would be better for us. That's an attack. Never gonna happen. The Infinite's never going to do that. But the Infinite will wait patiently for you to ask. The reason it feels like you've been cast off by the infinite is because you haven't asked.

And when you ask, you can't ask and say, take this from me and then go take it back. That's the other thing we do. Take this problem from me, judge it for me, all of that stuff that the psalm has set up to this point. And then as soon as we give it, we say, yeah, but maybe not. I got this. I'll do it myself.

Can't do that and expect results. Once you give it to the infinite, To the God of strength to handle for you. You have to let it happen. You have to leave it alone. You have to let the infinite take it. Why go? I mourning because of the oppression of my enemy? Well, since you asked , the reason why you're mourning, because of the oppression of your enemy is because you thought you had to deal with this.

You thought this was your problem to solve and you didn't know how. And so you're doing everything you can. But I like to remind us again and again, if you knew how to fix this, you would have done it already. So what you're doing isn't working. That's good news. It's good to know that. It's really good to know that because then you stop that.

You stop doing that. But that's the answer to your rhetorical question. The reason why you're mourning is because you keep trying to fix it yourself. Oh, send out thy light and thy truth. Let them lead me. Let them bring me unto thy holy hill and to thy tabernacles. And that's exactly what the infinite does.

Sends out light and love before you. Every morning when you wake up, just say, I am guided and led by the light and love of the universe. Let your light and love go before me and lead the way. And then what do you have to do? Follow the path that is in front of you. Have you ever been hiking? What is the first thing they tell you?

Stay on the trail. Stay on the trail. Don't get lost in the wilderness. Don't make your own trail. Don't think you're smarter than the forest. Stay on the darn trail. So we don't have to come out and find you. We don't have to send the rescue out for you. Stay on the darn trail. And so that's what this is.

The trail is going to be set for you, for the success of this, and you have to stay on it, one step at a time, doing what's right in front of you to do, being guided and led by the light and the love of the universe. And if you feel scared, you call back on that light and love and say, show me. Please show me the way, and you will be shown.

And then you will be brought unto the holy hill and the holy tabernacles. The holy hill and the holy tabernacles are symbolic of your connection with the infinite. Like we said, you're an extension from that star. Well, the place where you and that star are one is the holy tabernacle. And the holy hill is what you have to do in your mind in order to go there.

You have to. allow yourself to think as exalted of thoughts as you can muster, and the infinite will take care of the rest. You do your best and the infinite will take care of the rest for you. Then I will go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy. Yea upon the harp, will I praise Thee, My God.

Now you don't find the altar in some church or in some temple or even your home altar. We love home altars and they're wonderful, but that's not where the altar is, that this is speaking of, the altar is within you. The altar is within you, and it's not something that you created, it was created for you.

And that again, is that place where you and the infinite are one, and there is no holier place that you can find. than where you and the infinite are one. And to say, upon the harp I praise thee, praise is acknowledging enthusiastically that something is good. But here it's specifically saying, I need to do that with my harp.

It doesn't say anything about your voice in this one, it says with your harp. Your harp is an instrument that you play with your fingers. So, that's telling you that everything you do must be done in praise. Am I involved in an activity that is praising the Infinite, or am I involved in an activity that's trying to take care of something all by myself?

Right now, especially in regards to this situation, everything you do must be done in praise. Praise for the Infinite, enthusiastically acknowledging that the Infinite has this. So, your actions are going to reflect your faith that this is being taken care of. Anybody that's got any magical training knows that faith is one of the ingredients.

There's that fourfold witch's pyramid, faith, imagination, will, and secrecy. And if your faith is not there, the rest of the pyramid topples. There's no success. If you're doing one thing in a spell, and then you're doing another thing To prove to yourself in the universe you don't have faith in that spell, then that spell has no power.

So everything you do in regards to this is going to reinforce your faith through praise. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? In this regard, it's not so much the soul as we discussed it earlier, which is the extension out of which you were created. Because the soul, In that regard, never is cast down. The soul doesn't do that.

That's something the personality does. The soul here is talking more about your deep mind, your habitual thought patterns. So why am I always habitually depressed about this? Why am I always habitually thinking the worst thought, ready for the worst possible outcome? Why am I doing that? And why are thou disquieted within me?

Why am I not feeling good? Why can't I ever get my emotions calm? What's wrong? What's happening? We're telling ourselves here that we're not doing that anymore. That rhetorical question is to bring it up so that it can get released. Remember that everything that's on its way up is on its way out. It's not about saying, well, I have faith.

Therefore, if I feel bad, if I feel fearful or something, I'm just going to pretend I'm not feeling that. No, we are actually going the opposite direction. We're rooting those things out. But when we root those things out, we just let the infinite take care of it for us. We don't have to know what to do with those things.

We just have to know that we don't want to keep them. But the infinite, like I said before, doesn't go in and do it for us until we've given permission. And part of the way that we get permission is by allowing ourselves to be honest with what we're feeling. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Why am I feeling so stressed out about this?

Why am I feeling so upset about this? Why am I feeling so scared? What are these feelings? Where do I feel them in my body? And I don't want to feel this way anymore. I don't want to keep these things. I'm willing to let them go. And the infinite says, thank you. I will do it. And that's going back to the beginning of the psalm where it said, judge me.

Oh God. And that's part of the judgment is when we find these things that disquiet our inner self, our deep mind, we turn our attention on them. We don't just pretend that they're not there. Then we can allow the infinite to judge them. And the way that the infinite judges them is a sorting process. This is good.

We'll keep this. This, we don't want this. We're going to get rid of this. This we'll keep. This we're not going to keep. And that's something that you do with the infinite. You let the infinite do the judging. You do the finding. You seek and it judges. Hope in God for I shall yet praise him. We're instructing our deep mind to hope in God.

Now, when the Psalms say hope, they mean have faith in. Know that this is working out. Know that this is working out. All I have to do is locate these feelings that are going against the grain of what I desire and let the Infinite take care of them. And my job is to do my best to keep my faith focused on the fact that this is working out perfectly.

And any feelings that are standing in the way of that, I will offer up to the Infinite to be taken care of for me. I hope in God for I shall yet praise him who is the health of my countenance and my God. You shall yet praise him means that no matter what's going on, if you're feeling disquieted, you're probably not praising.

You're probably not praising God. And people misunderstand praising God, especially in a magical sense, because it's so different than what most people talk about when they talk about praising God. Most people, when they talk about praising God, want you to do something like jump up and down and sing, play a tambourine and go into a church and raise your hands in the air and say, praise the Lord, praise the Lord.

And there's nothing wrong with those activities and you can do them. But when we say praise God, we recognize that God is the source of all good. And anything that's not good is not of God. So, therefore, when you praise God, you simply acknowledge enthusiastically everything that's good in your life, the manifestations of good in your life.

And that includes the manifestations of the good in your life that are yet to be manifest, the ones that are still in the unmanifest state. You can list them off. You can have an attitude of praise, and you never have to let anybody know that you're praising God. You don't ever have to make a big show of it, because you're not praising some external deity.

You're praising the source of everything good in your life. So let's just take a moment and praise God. Did you eat today? That's good. You can get enthusiastic about that. Did you have a bed to sleep on? That's good. You can praise that. You can get enthusiastic about that. There's a lot of good that you can praise in the moment.

And it's up to you whether you want to spend your time praising the good or not. And it's telling you here, it's time to start doing that. You are giving your deep mind instructions by doing it, by setting an example. The deep mind cares more about what you do and how you think and how you feel than what you say.

Because those things show your faith. Faith is the guardian at the gate. If you don't have faith in something. It's not going to manifest. But unfortunately, we have faith in so many things that we don't want. We have faith that things aren't going to work out for us. We have faith the world is going to hell in a handbasket.

We have faith that our bodies are getting older and decrepit. We have faith in all of those things. But we can also have faith in what we do want, and we can focus on that instead. And so the way you do that is hope in God, for I shall yet praise him. You have faith and praise. who is the health of my countenance and my God.

So the infinite is the health of your countenance. Now the countenance is your face, but in the Psalms, the face is the truth. It's not necessarily your physical face. It's the truth of who you are. It's what we would call your soul. Not what the Psalms are referring to here as your soul. It's what we would call your soul.

The soul is the truth of how you are extended. The soul is what survives the body. The soul is who you were before you had a body. The soul is there possibly even in many lifetimes other than this one. So that's what your countenance is, is that extension of love that is you, not necessarily your face.

Who is the health of my countenance and my God, meaning and my source. So important to remind yourself, I didn't create myself. I was created. I'm an extension of love. Every part of myself that I made up is possibly the problem, is possibly the problem. Because this world doesn't teach us healthy habits as far as how we create personality structures and things like that.

So that's why the psalm starts out with judge me. I want you to judge me because I don't want to keep going around with these personality defects that create problems. It's not my fault. I didn't know that I was doing this. So I'm not blaming anybody. I'm not blaming myself It's just an unfortunate circumstance here in this world that we are all kind of sucked into this habit of feeling separate and Fragmented and lonely and poverty stricken and diseased and all these horrible things.

We're not blaming anybody But we are saying I don't want to do that anymore. I want the infinite to define me I don't want to define myself. And so that's why, who is the health of my countenance and my God? That's the real you. That's the you that you want to remember. And you want the infinite to constantly remind you of who you are.

And that's why we started out with, Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation. Because everything that That's happening in your life in regards to these problems that you might be coming to the psalm for are the result of an overarching thought form, which didn't come from the infinite.

So the infinite can destroy it and show you something better. So you just keep coming back to the same psalm every single day until you get a sense of peace and certainty that all is working out. And when you get that sense of peace and certainty, that is a definite communication from your deep mind that your spell has been cast and you do not need to do it anymore.

You can just forget all about it. It's happening all on its own and you can move on to something else. Thank you so much for spending some time with me. Until next time, blessed be.
