In this talk, Ariel Gatoga explores the profound connection between you, the universe, and the divine. He explains that while we often feel like life happens *to* us, our true essence and life force come from an internal source we can all access.

Ariel discusses the idea that ultimate truth is found within. He argues that a whole cosmos exists inside each of us, and spiritual qualities like creativity and life itself are expressions of this inner creative source. He also touches on how our body's automatic functions, like breathing and heartbeats, point to a divine connection that operates independently of our personal will.

By understanding this unity, we can address false beliefs that hold us back in our relationships, health, and prosperity. Ariel explains how recognizing our eternal nature and connection to the universe can help us overcome fear and transform our reality. The key is to change our own thoughts and beliefs, aligning ourselves with the universal laws that govern existence.

This lecture is a guide to self-discovery, helping you forge a meaningful relationship with your inner source and participate more intentionally and with greater awareness in your life.

Let's just take a moment and notice our heartbeat. Tune into that heart for a moment and you notice it beating. Now does that heartbeat happen outside of you or inside of you? Are you personally responsible for beating your heart? No.

You can't do much as far as giving yourself life. That life is coming from a seemingly higher source. But we wouldn't say that that source is outside of you.

Your heart isn't beating outside of you, it's beating inside of you. Now that's a wonderful physical symbol of what Jesus meant when he stated, the kingdom of heaven is within you. A lot of us believe that there are entities outside of us, deities outside of us, or maybe there's a deity, maybe it's God, maybe it's Jehovah.

Mr. Jehovah up in the sky, controlling things. Other people believe that there's nothing but chaos and nobody's controlling things. But for our purposes here as magicians, none of that matters.

You can't experience anything except through you. And just like your heart is beating within you, so is the entire cosmos being experienced within you. If you were to take time and relax and focus inward, you'd realize that there's an entire universe within you that has nothing to do with you as a personality, that has nothing to do with you as a so-called individual.

But it's still happening within you. Your creator exists within you. Now I love the image of the creator of the universe being akin to a star and there's beams of light emanating from the star.

Or you could say a sun. There's a sun and there's rays of light emanating from the sun. And that you're an emanation of that ray of light.

But you wouldn't look outside of yourself for the source of that ray of light because it's deep within you. The center of that source would be deep within you. You can't imagine a sun ray looking outside of itself for the source of its light because it's within it.

It's an extension of it. And that's why we say ultimately you and your creator are one. It's all within you.

But to say it's all within you doesn't mean that it all comes from you. Just like your heartbeat is within you but it doesn't come from you. You can't take personal credit for the fact that your heart is beating.

You can't take personal credit for the fact that you have life. Nobody can will themselves to be alive out of nothing. But the source of that life is within you.

If you were separated from the source of your life, then you wouldn't have life. We have been indoctrinated with this idea that we're small and insignificant and sort of nothing and that there's this great creator out there that someday we will maybe meet if we're good enough. And so it doesn't make sense to us that the grandeur of the universe is within us.

And that's why I always say that the door to the universe is in you but that door opens inward. You have to open that door inward. It's up to you whether you want to experience that or not.

But it's still there whether you want to experience it or not. Just like you can go your whole life and take your heartbeat for granted, you could just go about your merry way every single day of your life and never really notice that your heart is beating. You don't ever have to question and wonder, where is this life coming from? What's keeping my heart beating? Most people don't even think about that.

They just take it for granted that they have life. Let's just take a moment again. If you're in a place where you can, close your eyes and just calm down a bit, relax a moment, and tune into that heartbeat.

Just tune into it and notice that it's beating and notice that something's beating it, something's causing that. There's a power within you that is greater than you as you understand yourself, causing your heart to beat. That's the principle of life itself.

That's one of the names of God, life. And it's right there with you. There's nothing separating you from that life source or you wouldn't have that heart beating.

And that's just one of an infinite number of experiences that you take for granted in regards to the source of your being. You can open your eyes if you want to. But it's good to settle down and experience the grandeur of your life because the ego mind is a habit of thinking that we are separate from the source of our lives.

And when you just question that and you have a visceral experience of how you are at one with the source of your life, just by sitting and experiencing the beating of your heart, you understand how that concept that you're separate from the source of your life is erroneous. It's erroneous at face value. How could you be separate from your Creator? The power of your mind is so profound that you can experience things in your personal life that are based on something that is not true.

Your deep mind is so powerful it can project images onto the screen of space that you interact with that seem very real based on whatever thought forms you happen to impregnate that deep mind with. And so this idea that I am separate from my Creator being projected onto the screen of space gives you all kinds of erroneous experiences. It causes problems in relationships.

It causes problems with money. It causes problems with health. The gamut of human experience is affected by this assumption, by this premise that I'm separate from the source of my good.

And it's easy to just say, oh, the ego is the idea of separation and it's an erroneous idea. It's easy to say that, but a lot of times it doesn't get the attention it deserves in regards to actually sitting and experiencing it and understanding that you can prove that it's a faulty idea just by having an experience of the oneness with life that you already have that you take for granted every single moment. Now we would take that another step once the body that you're in no longer exists your soul's heart continues to beat.

In fact, not to discount the miracles of the body, but it's almost a clumsy representation or symbol of the vehicle that you are as a soul. As above, so below is the hermetic principle. As above, so below.

As the universe, so the soul. And it's also as the body, so the soul. So the body's got this representation which is that heart beating, but your soul has its own type of heartbeat.

It has its own oscillations that continue and continue and continue and never end. The more that we allow ourselves to have an experience of our oneness with the source of our lives, the easier it is for us to make new choices and new decisions about ourselves and the world that are healthy, or as the Psalms would call them, righteous. They're healthy.

They're sane ways of looking at things. They are healthy and sane ways of looking at our bodies, our relationships, our money, our possessions, all of those things. Because when you no longer are under the false assumption that you're all by yourself, you're no longer ruled by fear.

You're no longer ruled by fear. And if you're not ruled by fear, then you don't make fearful choices. And when you don't make fearful choices, things work out better for you.

You stop projecting images of fear onto the screen of space. We have several videos on the different qualities of the infinite, the different aspects of the infinite, and life is one of them. And you can experience that just by sitting and feeling alive, feeling the heartbeat, feeling your breathing, feeling the blood running through your veins, and feeling the power behind that, recognizing that you're not willing that personally to happen.

It's not because you're beating your heart, but you definitely can't say that you're separate from that. But then we have these other names as well that you can think about. We just talked about one of them, the idea that you're a soul.

The infinite is soul. And therefore, the creator extending and expressing itself as you means that you and the infinite are one. You are an expression of the infinite.

You're made of the same stuff as your creator. You're the same type of being as your creator. Monkeys don't give birth to chickens.

And therefore, the creator only creates like itself. So you are divine. Your soul is divine.

And spirit is another quality of the infinite. And you also, because you and your creator are one, you are spirit. That's the substance that you're made of.

You're not flesh. You have flesh. You have a body.

And it's wonderful. It's usable. There's all kinds of wonderful things you can do here with your body.

But the substance you're made out of is spirit. And spirit is indestructible. It doesn't decay.

It's eternal. It's a finer substance than light. That's why it's invisible to the human eye.

The only way you can see spirit is through the spiritual eye, through the spiritual sight. But that's who you are. Because we're so engrossed in our world of separation here, if our spiritual sight opens up, we think it's such a big deal.

We think it's just this big event. I saw a ghost. Or I saw spiritual substance.

When in reality, it's no big deal. That's the truth of everything. The truth of everything is the spiritual world.

It's just that we are preoccupied with what we see with our physical eyes. And so we don't even bother to look at things with our spiritual eye, with our psychic eye, with our spiritual sight. The Infinite's also intelligence.

That's one of its aspects, is intelligence. And therefore, your mind is also an extension of your Creator's mind. So the same mind that Beethoven used to compose symphonies, the same mind that Einstein used to understand his theory of relativity and to express it, the same mind of every genius in history is the same mind that you have.

Now how that mind individually expresses itself as you is going to be unique. But it's the same. There's one mind.

And you're connected to all creation through the mind. You and every mind that has ever existed and will ever exist are one with you. There is no separation.

It's one mind. We carve out individual egos for ourselves, and that can serve a purpose, but ultimately those are very temporary. And usually those egos cause more problems than they solve.

But your uniqueness is given to you by your Creator. You have in the physical realm a thumbprint that's unique to you. You have also a soulprint and a mindprint.

So the way that that universal mind is expressed through you is going to be just as unique as how it's expressed through everybody else. And that's why it's easy for us to say, oh, this is my mind. But it's not your mind.

It's the mind that you're using in your own unique way. You're expressing in your own unique way. Another aspect of the divine is truth.

There is only truth in divine mind. There are no lies in divine mind. There are no mistakes.

There are no errors. Since that's true of the infinite, it's also true of you. When we use our minds to decide things aren't the way they really are, we get into trouble.

And that's why most of the things that the ego mind comes up with we could classify as a lie. There are ideas that the ego comes up with that are counter to the truth. You're separate.

That's not true. That's a lie. There's something wrong with you.

That's not true. There's a lie. Maybe there's something wrong in the storyline somewhere.

But remember that that body, that storyline, all of these experiences here in this three-dimensional reality are the result of thought forms being projected onto the screen of space. So they all start out with faulty ideas. Not only individual ideas, but collective ideas.

Collective ideas. They're very strong. And we don't question what we're taught.

We don't question what we're told. We don't question the reality of our three-dimensional experience. Because that's what we've been taught is what it is.

What you see with your eyes, what you experience with your physical senses is what it is. Period. Even though intellectually we know, even within the three-dimensional world, there's all kinds of stuff that my senses don't know.

There's gamma rays. There's all kinds of radiation we don't perceive at all. There's sound waves that we can't hear because it's beyond what the human ear is capable of registering.

So we know that intellectually, but still we hang on to the idea that what I experience with my senses is the truth. And it's really not. It's really the illusion.

And there's nothing wrong with the illusion, but if you don't know it's an illusion, then you're not experiencing truth. And truth is an aspect of the infinite. And the infinite wants you to know the truth.

One of the best things we can do for ourselves is affirm, I only want to know the truth. If we're having something going wrong with us in our lives, we can just say, I'm assuming this is not true. Or I would be experiencing harmony.

So I want to see the truth instead of this. That's all I want is the truth instead of this. Another aspect of the infinite is love.

It's just the way the infinite works. It's the essence of what the infinite's about. In truth, there is only love.

In truth, that's all there is. When you're created, it's out of love. It's an act of love that creates you.

You're an extension of your creator, and that is a loving act. And the idea that your creator loves you is very foreign to many people because they only understand love as it applies to human affection. And a lot of human affection and what is called love in the human world is not so loving.

So we get a misunderstanding about what love is. It's a peaceful experience. When there's love present in any situation, we know that love based on the peace that it produces.

So if you're in a state of peace and you have compassion and you desire to help, you know that you're functioning as you're meant to function and that everything's going well. You are expressing the same love out of which you were created. But if that ego mind starts to come up with stories about why you can't love or why love is not appropriate or why love is dangerous or whatever it comes up with in order to thwart your natural expression of love, then you have problems.

And then law. Law is another aspect of the divine. There are laws that the divine will never violate.

It couldn't violate its own laws any more than you could. And so many times when we pray to some deity or we pray to God, what we're praying for is please do the impossible. Please go against your laws.

In other words, please let me think whatever I want to think but give me this money. Please let me think whatever I want to think but heal this body. Please let me think whatever I want to think but heal this relationship.

And so what you're doing is you're saying, I don't care about cause and effect. That's the primary law of the universe. I want you to give me something that is contrary to the causes I am perpetuating.

In other words, I want to think hateful thoughts but I want to be at peace. I want to think thoughts of poverty but I want prosperity. I want to think thoughts of illness but I want health.

And so that's why prayers are often not answered because we're praying for things that aren't possible. If you're smart and you really want your prayers to work, pray that your thoughts about a situation be changed. Then you're going about it in harmony with law.

You're not asking the Creator to do something it won't do or can't do. Yes, there's something that the Creator can't do. It can't stop being the Creator.

It wants you to prosper. It wants you to be happy. It desires for you everything that a loving parent would desire but you've got to do it through law.

So if you want something to change in your life rather than asking for the thing to change ask for your thoughts about the thing to be changed. To be transformed. Then the Creator can help you because then you're handling something on the realm of cause on the level of cause and therefore the effects are going to be changed.

It's not, please give me more money. It's, please heal my mind about my financial situation. It's not, please heal my relationship.

It's, heal my mind about my relationship. It's not, heal my body but please heal my mind about my body. Then you have power to actually change those experiences because you are working within the law.

And then finally we've got the principle of presence. Omnipresence. When you want to have a visceral experience of the presence of the infinite called frequently in the Psalms the fear of God all you have to do is do what we started out with.

Calm down and feel your heartbeat and then feel the power that's making your heartbeat. Notice your breathing. Be aware of the presence that's causing you to breathe and then start noticing the sunlight coming through the clouds and be aware of the power causing the sun to shine, etc.

And you'll recognize that if you desire it the presence of the infinite can be felt anywhere you are at any moment of time. And when you are tuned into omnipresence everything can change in an instant for you. You're no longer fighting against the presence.

You are understanding your oneness with the presence. And if you're one with the presence and you're not fighting against that presence then everything that's going to make you happy is included in that. You were created to be happy.

You were created to be successful. You were created to be free and joyous. And anything that's not those things is the mind shadowing those principles.

Recognize that there's no principle of darkness. There's no principle of death. There's no principle of ignorance.

Death is a blocking of life. Ignorance is a blocking of intelligence. Darkness is a blocking of light.

And it's not that those things are evil. It's not that those things are bad. It's just understanding if those things aren't what you want recognize that they aren't their own principles.

It's us turning our focus away from a divine principle and focusing it on something that's not there. But this is all happening inside of us which is the point of this whole talk. It is all within you.

There is no outside of you. Every single thing you experience has to go through your consciousness. Your consciousness isn't outside of you.

It's in you. It's with you all the time. So the entire universe happens inside of you.

It's understanding that the creative principle that is the creator of all that is exists inside you. And the doorway to heaven, if you will, the doorway to the experience of that is inside of you as well. And like I said, that door opens inward.

You are responsible for what you do with your mind. You are responsible for what you do with your consciousness and your awareness. And where you place your awareness people do misunderstand when we say it's all within you.

They think, oh, so then I'm responsible for everything myself? Well, no. You're only responsible for how you're using your consciousness, how you're using your awareness. You're not responsible for creating yourself or sustaining your life.

But you are responsible for understanding that you are one with that force, not separate from it. That is your responsibility. And when you find that you're off course and that you're going back into old erroneous thinking that is causing you problems, you can make a new choice at any moment.

Wherever you are, whenever it is, if you're not feeling good, if you're not feeling peaceful, you can assume that you made a wrong choice, that you put your consciousness where it shouldn't be. And when I say shouldn't, I mean where it shouldn't be in order for you to be happy, in order for you to be at peace. And you don't always know how to get out of that.

In fact, most of the time we don't know how to get out of that because we're so entrenched in these habits. But remember, one of the aspects of the Divine is intelligence. The Divine knows exactly what you're thinking.

The Divine knows exactly where you are, what you're doing. And if you but ask for help, the Divine, the Infinite, can move you back into a place of equilibrium, into a place of happiness. But it won't come in uninvited because we're responsible for opening that door.

But once we open that door, the Infinite is there. It's not that the Infinite will come in because we've opened the door. We've opened the door to the Infinite.

We've opened the door to where the Infinite exists within us. And then the Infinite shines forth like it always does, like it does when it creates you, and makes everything good again. And that happens one step at a time.

One problem at a time. One trauma at a time. So whatever it is that's causing us consternation, we have a tool.

And that is to recognize I'm off track somehow. But I know that I can get back on track if I ask for help. And that help is within you.

It's always there. Always there. It's never going anywhere.

You're never going to be abandoned. It's always there for you. It's just a matter of us being aware that it's there, and using it, and asking for help.

Thank you so much for spending some time with me today. I so appreciate you. Until the next time, Blessed Be.
