Secrets To Happiness No One Tells You About

The world likes to give us the impression that we are powerless. The world likes to remind us that we are a cog in a big machine, that we don't have much say in how things go, and we definitely don't have sway. You can see evidence for this everywhere, between advertising media, news media, stories people tell, social media -- believing we have limited power. That's exactly how the world wants it. If we were to recognize and realize our true power, the world would cease to exist as we understand it.

We have a power within us that is more potent than nuclear energy. The difference between our power within us and the power in the world, the power outside of us, that we've been told is the most potent form of power, is a destructive power and it is to be feared. The true power that we have is not destructive in nature, it's constructive.

Yet our ego minds would like us to believe that a non-destructive power is limited, whereas in reality, it is everything. When we hear things like, Our Father, which art in heaven, it leads us to believe that there's a God force separate from us in a place called heaven that we can petition and possibly get some help from. In the New Testament, the character Jesus tells us the kingdom of heaven is actually within us, which would lead us to understand, if we really took that to heart, God, or the Father, as it's called in that book, is within us.

That's where God is. Heaven is in you. God is in you.

God lives in you. If God lives in you, and God is supposedly omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, and all-loving, and that power is within you, that lets you know that you're all-powerful, that you're all-knowing, that you're all-loving. When we even consider such a thing, the ego shuts it down immediately.

Well, that can't be true. How can everybody be all-powerful? How can everybody be all-loving? How can everybody be all-knowing? How is that even possible? Well, that's because the ego mind trades in the illusion of separateness. And so, since the ego sees everything as separate, it sees everything as potentially warring with one another.

And from the ego's point of view, the most destructive power wins. That power that is the most destructive and dangerous wins, because it can destroy everything else. And that's the ego's worldview.

And that's the worldview that we believe in. That which is on the screen of space that we interact with is a projection from our mind. Well, since everything is a projection of our mind on the screen of space that we interact with, that goes back to the fact that God is in you.

The idea that we misuse the God power that is within us lets us know that evil is within us as well. The evil that is within us is the only evil that exists. And the good that is within us is the only good that exists.

All creation exists inside of us. We misuse that creation by projecting things onto the screen of space that are not true, that are illusory in nature and are destructive in nature. Everything that you experience has to be experienced through you.

If it's not being experienced through you, it doesn't exist for you. If you're not experiencing something, it's not happening. And that includes experiencing something that's happening to so-called other people because you're hearing about it with maybe a news broadcast or a story.

It's happening because it's happening through you, even though it's not happening to you. Had you not heard about that news broadcast, it wouldn't be a thing for you. It wouldn't exist for you.

So the only thing that can exist for you is that which you are aware of. And since the only thing that exists for you is that which you are aware of, that means that in your universe, the only thing that exists is that which is in your awareness. You have all power over everything in your awareness.

The idea that the kingdom of heaven is within you and therefore the Creator is within you is not fantasy. It's something that you can prove to yourself. You can experience only through your own awareness.

That's proof to you that you're the center of your universe. Now a lot of us don't believe that we have the ability to actually create the experiences that we desire. We believe that we are victimized by the experiences that are happening to us.

And it takes a momentary leap of faith to come out of that thought system in order to have power over your experiences. We have been taught since the beginning of our lives here on earth that we don't have power over our experiences, or we have limited power over our experiences. Everything is happening to us because we're small.

Everything is happening to us because we are a cog. We are not God. Heaven doesn't exist within us.

That if there is a God, it's outside of us and it's far, far away, because heaven is far, far away. Once you take a moment and say, maybe not, I'm going to suspend disbelief and try on another thought system. I'm going to try it out.

I'm going to be a scientist about it. I'm going to give this idea a fair trial. Even though it seems as though everything's happening to me, the kingdom of heaven is within me, and therefore God is within me.

And since God is within me, I can have what I want. What you do then is every time something happens in your life, you recognize that it's happening because of your perception of it. Something that's unwanted is going on in your life.

You're saying, I'm perceiving this. It's coming through me. It's coming through my mind.

It's coming through my senses. My opinion of this experience is what is creating it for me. And since I'm the thinker that's having this experience, I can also be the thinker that changes this experience.

I can think anything I want to think. I can have my experience be anything I want it to be. Then your assignment has to be, well, what do I want? Rather than I don't want this, what do I want? And that's where people get stuck.

They don't know what they want. They know what their ego tells them they should want. Well, you should want more money.

You should want more sex. You should want more food. You should want more clothes.

You should want a nicer car. You should want a bunch of things. And you can use your inner power to create those things for yourself.

There's no law that says you can't do that. You can have all the cars you want. You can have all the money you want.

You can have all the things you want. Everything is in the realm of the invisible. Everything is in the realm of the mind.

And so if there's blocks to you having, let's say, money inside you, you're going to have to undo those blocks mentally, and you're going to have to reorient yourself or so-called reprogram your mind in order to have the money that you want, or the relationship that you want, or the clothes that you want, whatever it is. And you can do that. We talk about it all the time here, how you have to undo a negative belief system in order to replace it with what you do want.

The idea that the ego desires you can thus get are going to make you happy is a grave error because we don't really want those things. We may want them temporarily, and again, there's nothing wrong with having those things. But then if you're not careful, your magic just becomes another method by which you can chase after things that aren't going to make you happy.

When we say the kingdom of heaven is within you, it's not just the power to get what your ego tells you you should want. The kingdom of heaven being within you is the power of all creation and the power to make your life joyful and happy and that contributes to the goodness of the entire world. Once you understand that it's more than just what else can I get in the physical world or in the three-dimensional world, once you understand that that's a treadmill that's never going to bring you the happiness that you desire, once you understand that, then it's a matter of just shifting your focus from using your power on those things.

Understanding that your happiness will not come from them is smart because then you can shift your focus and you can start using that power for its main function and your main function as a creative being is to be happy. That's the Infinite's goal for you is happiness. And the idea that, well, if I get these things that I want, well, that's not going to bring you happiness.

It might be fun in the moment. It might help you. Those might be wonderful tools that you can use while you're in the world and you're more than welcome to them.

You're more than welcome to having that money, having that food, having those things, having those cars, all of that, the homes, anything you want. You're more than welcome to them. But if they become distractions to your primary goal, which is happiness, then they're not serving you.

And like I said, their best function is to teach you the skills necessary to be able to create with your mind, to be able to create, magically speaking. That's the best use for those kinds of desires. But eventually you have to put those toys away.

Eventually you have to put those toys away and realize these things aren't permanent. They're not going to last. And for another thing, they can't bring you happiness.

They can't bring you joy. You know what it's like when you get something. It's like, oh, yay.

But then it passes and you want the next new thing and the next new thing and the next new thing. If you're not careful, your magic just becomes another type of consumerism. And so that can't be true because it's not making you happy.

The only thing that's real in regards to your creative ability is that which is going to bring happiness to you. Now the fact that we don't understand as a collective here that we are one, that there is no separation, that we are all beams of light from the same star, we really don't understand that what we do affects everyone. That what we do to one person we're doing not only to everyone but also to ourselves.

And so the more that we try to use our magic to carve out these identities for ourselves and to carve out these private little worlds for ourselves, we are walling ourselves off from our happiness because we can't be happy in a vacuum. It's impossible. You can try, and people do try all the time.

Mishavisham cannot be happy. You cannot be happy in isolation. It's impossible.

Because happiness is a shared experience. And you only can own that which you give. You can only have that which you give.

And the ego doesn't get that. From the ego's point of view, anything you give you lose. From the ego's point of view, anything that you share is lost.

The only thing that's real is the creative source inside of you. And that exists in a non-physical experience. Think about how when you share an idea with somebody, if you teach somebody something.

Let's say there's a child, and you teach them addition and subtraction. When you share that with them, they have new skill. But you didn't lose your skill.

You didn't lose your ability. It's easy to see that when you share an idea, you don't lose the idea. You actually expand the idea because you give the idea to somebody else.

You have the idea, and now they have the idea. Sharing things is also a way to have things. But it's not as obvious at first glance.

And the ego only understands things that exist in three-dimensional reality, that can be measured with the senses. And so when you try to explain to the ego that sharing is the way to have something, and sharing is the way to increase something, it just doesn't get it. And it never will.

Because it doesn't understand anything other than that which is separate. Because that's what three-dimensional reality is. It's a reality based on separation.

The only way for us to function as creators in the way that we are intended to function, which is to bring happiness to ourselves, is by sharing happiness. And the most potent way to share happiness is through the act of blessing and praise. That which you praise, you expand.

And the idea that you're going to praise some deity is silly once you realize that there is no deity outside of you. And we're not knocking people. Whatever floats your boat.

I mean, if you go to church and you raise your hands up in the air and you say, Praise the Lord, praise the Lord. That's fine. You can do that.

But true praise is praising that which is good in your life. And that is an act of love because the best way to praise something is to share it. What you share is an act of praise.

And what you praise expands. And then you get this constant spiral of expansion. You praise, and that gives you more to praise, which gives you more to praise.

And the praise goes on and on and on. And everything expands. And that's how you use your power of creativity that is within you through praise, love, gratitude.

Think about something that maybe you're not happy about in your life right now. Just let it come to mind. Something that's just not working.

And ask yourself, what is praiseworthy in relation to it? What is something that you could praise? What is something that you could feel good about? And how can you find a way to praise that by sharing it with another? By extending that out to somebody else. Like we talked about with that lecture on altruism. It's not because you're being altruistic that you're sharing with somebody.

You're not sharing with somebody because then you're a special person. You're sharing with somebody because you're wanting more of it. You want it to expand.

You know that making them happy is making you happy. Where could you share in relationship to this thing? So let's just take the thing that everybody's always talking to me about is money. The idea that I need more money, that's a belief system that's actually a command.

So you're misusing your power of creation anytime you say, I need money. Because you're telling that creative power within yourself, go and prove to me that I need money. Prove to me that I need money.

And the more you say, I need money or feel I need money, the more you are instructing the power within you to prove to you that you need money. So instead of that, let's just take a moment and say, wait, let's look at this the way the infinite looks at this. Since the only way I can have something is to share it, and the only way that I can bring happiness in any area of my life is to praise.

Well, where do I have money? There's got to be something. You must have a nickel. There's some money somewhere.

In your mind, you hold that and you praise it. You become enthusiastic about how happy you are you have this thing. I'm happy that I have this money.

Whatever it is, I'm not thinking about how it's only a nickel. I'm thinking about how wonderful it is that I have this and that this spending power that I have in this money increases through my praise. And since it's increasing through my praise, how can I share this with another? How can I share this with another person? That's where the ego will say, oh, no, you're going to lose that.

You're going to lose that money. But you have to understand, I'm sharing the idea of wealth with another person, an organization or wherever I'm being led to give some money. Blessing this money, praising this money, sharing this money automatically expands that money.

It does it immediately, instantaneously in the spiritual realm. Now, it's true that three-dimensional reality is confined by both space and time. So it does take time for things to manifest in that dimension.

It's just the nature of the dimension. Form always follows thought. Once you understand how powerful you are, once you understand that, you don't question it anymore.

You expect it. You prove it to yourself again and again and again. You're using magic as it was intended to be used, as the science of imagus, which is to increase your happiness.

So in this case, we decided that you were unhappy because of money. And so we're changing that around. We're saying, no, money brings me happiness.

And this is how I'm going to prove that to myself. I'm going to take some money, praise it, become happy about it, be grateful for it, and then share it. Everything that is shared is returned to me in the physical world in time, but in the mental world immediately.

When you give something to another person, and you see their eyes light up, and you see the gratitude in their face, there's nothing better. There's no better feeling in the world. I don't care what things you get in the world and how much you want to convince yourself that those things bring you the greatest joy.

There is no joy that can surpass you making a difference in a person's life, you giving to another person and seeing their eyes light up. So the moment that you give something, and maybe you can't do it in person, that doesn't matter. You still feel the same experience because you gave something to them.

So in the physical world, the ego is going to say, see, you're five cents poorer because you gave them that. You don't want to listen to that because you know that's not true. You know in that moment that you feel like a million dollars because you gave somebody something that they need, or they want, or they appreciate.

So immediately that energy is experienced inside of you. Now anybody that's been doing this for more than a few months understands that the feelings that you experience always manifest themselves. So if you're doing something that's giving you those electric feelings of joy and happiness, you know that it's just a matter of time for that to manifest in a wonderful way for you.

And so you're not worried about the physical. You know that that's taking care of itself. You're on to the next gratitude.

You're on to the next sharing. The next extension of love. And do you see what happens? You, as a soul, are an extension of love from your Creator.

When you act like your own Creator, when you act like God, how do you do that? By extending love. That's your creation. No, you didn't create the other person, but you created that joy.

You created that happiness. You did that. Happiness didn't happen to you.

Joy didn't happen to you. Nothing outside of you made you happy. You did it.

You decided, I'm going to act just like God. I'm going to act just like God. And since I'm so powerful and I can act just like God, I can have all the happiness I want.

I can have all the joy I want. Right here, right now. I don't have to wait.

And I'm not going to worry about what's going on in the three-dimensional reality because I know that's handled. I'm on to the next piece of joy that I can share. I'm on to the next bit of happiness that I can experience.

You're doing this out of self-interest. Yes, it's wonderful that they're happy. It's absolutely wonderful that you're making a difference in another person's life.

But you're doing it so that you will be happy. And that's exactly how it's supposed to work. That's exactly how it's supposed to work.

The Infinite's will for you is happiness. Imagine how happy the Infinite is. Anytime you're happy.

That makes the Infinite happy. So when you extend happiness to another, yeah, of course it's going to make them happy, but you're doing it for yourself. You have the power within you to be happy.

This is a very powerful piece of information. You have the ability to be happy at any moment of time or point of space based upon your decision to extend yourself out of praise, love, gratitude, and sharing. When you share out of praise, love, and gratitude, it's electric.

You can tell whether you've really given a gift or not. If you've really given it, it's not yours anymore. Your joy is eternal as a result of you having given that.

But if you go check up on them, and, oh, how come I don't ever see you using that thing? When somebody has maybe a fight with somebody, well, I gave you the blah, blah, blah. Well, you didn't really give it to them, did you, if you were going to use that against them later? The joy of giving is a joy in of itself that if you really understand it and you do it mindfully, and purposefully, puts you in touch with the greatest power in the universe. It's the same power out of which you are created.

If it wasn't for that power that we're talking about, that power of praise and sharing and extending, you wouldn't exist. Nothing would exist. Since the universe creates out of extending itself, and you follow suit by extending yourself out of love and praise and gratitude and sharing, you then are placed in the line of creation, which, like I said before, is more powerful than anything that the physical world could ever offer you.

It's more powerful than electricity, more powerful than nuclear energy, more powerful than gravity. It's more powerful than anything. It may not appear in the physical world immediately.

And that's why it doesn't seem so powerful. But don't judge based on appearances in the physical universe. That's where we get screwed up.

Judge based on how you feel in the moment. How do you feel when you are sharing something and giving something? If you feel amazing, then you know you have put yourself in contact with the creative power that is within you. And you are utilizing it for its primary function.

And that you can expect things in your physical world to rearrange themselves to reflect that. You can use magic for money spells. You can do spells for relationships.

You can do spells for anything you want. But those spells aren't going to guarantee your happiness. The only thing that's going to guarantee your happiness is the true high magic, which is the magic of praise, love, gratitude, and extension.

Finding things in your life that don't work and applying this principle to them is brilliant. It's the smartest thing you can do. It's the best use of this power.

So do it. Find out what's not working, what you don't love. How can I find something in regards to that that is working, that I can give praise about, that I can be grateful for, and that I can share out of love with another person? You might be sharing things.

You might be sharing ideas. You might be sharing support. You'll be guided.

You'll be led. It'll be obvious to you. You'll know exactly what to do.

If you are engaged in the practice of finding praise and gratitude for something, the loving act of sharing that, extending that to another is going to be obvious to you. And when you do that, instantaneously, you will feel ecstatic pleasure. You will feel happiness.

You will feel joy. And that happiness and the joy is an indicator to you that you're doing it right. When you feel that, expect blessings that will appear in your physical universe.

This is the ultimate magical education that anyone could ever receive. That you have within you the entire universe. All creation is within you.

And the way you access that is through praise and gratitude. And the way you get it into motion is by extending it. In other words, sharing it.
