In this magical teaching, we look at the story of Cinderella in an entirely different way. The Fairy Godmother offers a profound lesson about practical magic, Divine Design, and what happens when we stop trying to control the “how.”
Magic is not about making the impossible happen or forcing two plus two to equal five. Reality is lawful. The problem is often that we have confused the result we desire with the particular equation we think must produce it.
Cinderella wanted to go to the ball. Her mistake was deciding that because she couldn't figure out how to get there, she couldn't go. The Fairy Godmother refused to accept that conclusion.

From there, she used exactly what was available and got Cinderella to the ball magnificently. But the ball itself was only the point of entry into a transformation Cinderella could never have planned for herself.
This is one of the great gifts of practical magic. We can work for the things that genuinely matter to us—a bill paid, healing, prosperity, an opportunity, a relationship—and allow those answered spells to open the way to an even greater experience of the Divine Design.
